New England Aquarium New England Aquarium is one of largest and most popular aquariums in the U.S. with over 1.3 million visitors each year and a respected oceanographic/marine-life research facility.	New England Aquarium Verus Design got its start in 1984 creating this award-winning annual report and other communications collateral for the NEAQ. The report cover, with an electron microscopy image of sharkskin was printed in tritone inks with a tinted dull varnish for a satin-like tactile surface. The die-cut square reveals a colorful image of the new coral reef exhibit.
New England Aquarium Using tinted dull varnish on high-gloss white stock allowed the tri-tone images to pop from the background. Knocked-out of the varnish are schooling fish shapes that give a subtle flash of gloss as the page is turned.	New England Aquarium The Aquarium School Brochure recruits teachers and students for field trips. The custom die-cut window on grooved stock reveals a series of wonderful starfish paintings by NEAQ exhibit artist Sarah Landry.
