 BSU Admissions PackageBridgewater State University is a public liberal-arts college located in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. With over 12,000 students, it is the largest state university outside of the UMass system. The Admissions Dept. at BSU selected Verus Design to create a new undergraduate recruitment package at a key moment in the institution's history.  BSU admissions viewbookThe goal of the admissions package was to overcome long-held preconceptions of BSU as a small regional teacher's college. The tagline "Think Again" was used throughout in a "question and answer" theme to present BSU as the dynamic, modern University it had become. |  BSU admissions viewbookThe admissions staff wanted the new viewbook to capture the essence of the University. The previous package was produced by a large nationally-known college recruitment agency. It was glossy and well printed, but felt generic and missed the mark. They wanted something different. |
 BSU admissions viewbookVerus Design developed innovative short-panel section dividers to carry the Q&A theme and drive the flow. Making the short panels centered vertically was an extremely complex production problem solved by the experts at Superior Bindery with an innovative die cutting technique invented for this project. |  BSU admissions viewbookThe admissions package was so well received that it is now in its 2nd printing with minor updates and will eventually have been in use for 6 years. |
